The Division of Gaming attended the G2E Global Gaming Expo which was held at the Las Vegas Conventional Center on the 4 th – 7 th October, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The attendees were Ms. Kaye Mc Donald – Director of Gaming and Mr. Sean Smith – Regulatory Enforcement Officer. Our key objective to attend this conference was to keep the Division of Gaming moving ahead despite mounting competition, a challenging economy and a changing Industry. One key point of interest was gaming device testing; An alternative Regulatory Approach which can be used to maintain our jurisdiction’s integrity while the public’s interest is protected as far as fairness is concerned. As the level of technology heightens as it relates to online gaming within Antigua & Barbuda, our regulatory approach is indistinguishable

There were well over 24,000 attendees with 600 exhibitors, manufacturers and suppliers from around the globe representing the industry’s latest products, technologies and trends. In addition, there were over 100 sessions been facilitated by industry experts.
